“Just discovered this duo. I like them overall. And maybe this is a little harsh, but I wish they would have done a little more research on Norse mythology, culture in understanding some of the scenes that they dismissed. For example, the scene with Elfwynn and the crow comes directly from Norse mythology and how the crow is seen as a protector or in some cases a prophesy from the Gods. Eric is her father. So I took that scene as him guiding her to the danger in front of her and trying to protect her. The television series Vikings is set in the same time period and would explain more the significance of the crows than this series since it mostly focused on Saxons. Anyway, I still enjoyed listening to the pair. I enjoyed their insights as ppl involved in film and television. I would definitely recommend listening to this and many more of their podcasts.”
