A breath of fresh air
I’ve been frustrated with sports media for awhile with their “hot takes” and opinions that sound like everyone else out there. This is without question a breath of fresh air, and one of the best sports podcasts around. Josh’s insight on the college football landscape is top notch, with actual nuance and analysis on what’s going on. I highly recommend this podcast to any college football fan. Question for Josh: I’m a Tennessee fan, and I think the 2016 season is one of the most fascinating/infuriating football seasons I’ve experienced. The season had it all: top 10 rankings, epic wins over Florida and Georgia, and it seemed like we were well on our way to dominating the SEC East. Then it all fell apart: a 2OT loss to Texas A&M that included 7 turnovers, our star RB quit mid-season, inexplicable losses to South Carolina and Vanderbilt, Florida won the East, and Butch Jones’ infamous “Champions of life” quote. In your opinion, what happened to the 2016 Vols?

Josh Pate has been putting out excellent content since he was independent. I haven’t missed an episode since he joined 247sports. Honestly I keep up with this more than Joe Rogan. I love the spreads talk during the season. I was going to send an email, but if this is a guaranteed response: ...Read full review »
