“I love the show. My 10 year old son loves the show as well. He’s hard into surfing and listens to every word. The problem is, I don’t want him listening to EVERY word...because of the occasional cursing. There is not a whole lot of cursing and with a small
amount of intentionality you could drop the Explicit Rating and capture and inspire the next generation without their parents having to worry about the content. And no, it would not take away from the interviews. In fact I have only heard one guest curse one time so far. Rather it’s the interviewer doing the occasional cursing.
You even have an F-bomb in a sound clip during the intro segment...again, why? There’s no reason for it. Why limit your audience with needless profanity?”
