“Characters are great and really stand on their own. Very fleshed out and believable. Excellent role playing for sure. And while once or twice early on I found the pacing rather slow, I’ve definitely come to really appreciate and enjoy the interpersonal backstory, dialogue and otherwise slower bits between the PCs and NPCs. The twists and turns and plot are great and I so want to get closure on the PC side quest elements. Seriously 10/10. I can think of no real complaints. Edit: I have noticed that the modern sensibilities and morals of the players can sometimes bleed into the characters. This would normally not be an issue, BUT as I said before, the role playing aspect in this podcast is so deliciously fantastic that it stands out. To me at least, and maybe I’m a silly fool. But when the angry rampaging murderer gets in a tiff over the drug addict wanting to do some harmless slavery, it seems out of touch. And it’s not the only time she does that kind of thing, but that one got me the most.
Anyway, it’s a fictional place about fictional people, and it can be assumed everyone listening knows both murder and slavery are wrong, so maybe not jump up on the soap box and signal all that virtue?”
