“I read The Lucky Few book shortly after having a newborn with Down Syndrome places in our home in foster care. I had no idea what we were getting into and knew nothing about Down Syndrome. When these ladies started a podcast I was thrilled and have listened since it started. It has put words to my feelings, opened my eyes to struggles and opportunities, and makes me feel like I am not alone in this journey of parenting a child with Down Syndrome. The newborn in foster care is now almost 3 and officially became my son in July 2018. This podcast has given me lots of encouragement along the way and I am so grateful for it!”
