Gods and Witches and Worship, oh my!
Very informative podcast about worship, gods, and the inner workings of witchcraft. I adore old stories about Gods and how they were worshipped, what they stood for, and how they may still be honoured today, and Moorcroft does not disappoint. He is incredibly researched, puts his talks together beautifully, and each episode he dives into a literal well of information that will sweep you away from the first word to the last. First episode I listened to was the episode on Ix Chel, and it was incredibly interesting and refreshing to listen to. I have found that a lot of shows that delve into this sort of topic can be a little.. airy. They can jump from one thought to the next without really having an end goal, which makes them hard to listen to. You will not get this with The Mage’s Well. Moorcroft is concise with his words, he edits his work beautifully, and his script is something he has worked very hard on. The time and effort he has put into his work shows. Give the show a try, even if you have just a passing interest. You will not be disappointed, no matter what episode you choose to start with.
