The Jar Jar Binks of Podcasts
I wanted to like this podcast but it’s terrible. Took 16 minutes to jump into the content. I felt like I was listening to a couple of 14 year old boys reviewing the show. They talk over each other and have a terrible cadence to their delivery. They also incorporate a lot of nervous and unnecessary laughter into the show. Rather than going over key points, ideas, and themes, they go scene by scene, retelling every scene in detail, accompanied by nervous laughter and the “it’s like...like...like...” valley girl diatribe continues. A tough listen.

I love that these guys go scene by scene and break down reactions and deeper backstory to what is going on. I’ve gotten into a habit now of watching an episode cold, listening to this show, then watching the episode again

The Mandalorian watch is the perfect balance of deep Star Wars references without getting lost in the weeds. Alex and Mac do an awesome job of recapping the journey for all Star Wars lovers regardless of knowledge. They absolutely crush it and is totally worth the listen.
