“I have listened to your ideas for many years off and on. I appreciate your work and i agree with you on so many levels. I am a 67 year old private practice physician in solo practice in a small town in TN. I am deeply conservative in my political views. I care about climate change, my fellow man, concerns about racism, feeding the hungry, equality, service to mankind, encouraging and supporting others as they strive for a better life as defined by them, the prospects of war and other horrors, freedom, honor, respect of others. All the same things you care about. I love the country in which i am fortunate to live in as i know you do too. I try to listen to the ideas of progressives. But usually get turned off because there seems to be no desire to listen to conservatives points of views let alone consider that there is wisdom on both sides. I listen to progressive and conservatives and sometimes there is this unnrational craziness that is such a turn off. I then can’t listen any more and i tune it out. I am praying that your podcast might be different.”
