“While the concept of the story is interesting, and the listener is interested to know what follows next, a number of snags distract from the story. The author has an odd rhythm to her reading, including pauses in strange places, and for some reason never used the past-tense of the word "ask". Accents should be completely abandoned altogether as they do not seem accurate to the characters played and are only used intermittently anyway. Finally, though I am no expert in the history of ancient England/Scotland/Ireland, based on the numerous books I've read personally, the story seems rife with historical inaccuracies that distract from the plot. The author does do a good job of editing and utilizing sound effects, so a big kudos there. In short, if you can tune out the distractions of the presentation and don't know or care much about historical accuracy, you'll likely find the story amusing.”
