Superb
Mr. Cooper has an excellent grasp of facts. He shares his opinion at times but only in such a way as to help you learn how to think and develop your own opinions. Do not be offended at his use of the word “myth.” He has a different definition of “myth” than you normally hear and it is equally valid. He does not mean in any way that the myth never actually happened. His chief gift is his ability to put his listeners in the shoes of the people in the story. He adds greatly to any historical analysis by making it personal to you and forcing you to come to grips with how you might respond in the same situation. I am an addict.

Have you thought about the creation of the modern state of Israel enough? I hadn’t and I used to think I thought about it more than a lot of people. This is an exploration of both sides and does a good job of muddying all easier answers.

Mr Cooper tells the story of the birth of Israel with fairness and equality to both sides. His voice is also compelling and is perfect for a workout or cleaning the house.

This is a well crafted and thoughtful podcast that weaves together the narrative, nuances and analysis that is necessary to understand the current Palestinian-Israeli conflict. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning how this current conflict developed.
