“I haven’t listened to many podcasts. Mostly ones my granddaughter or daughter have played while visiting or when were in the car. I love the story behind what makes Mark Hall who he is and what is really important to him and the stories behind songs. I went with friends from my church to the Casting Crowns/ Matthew West concert at the Times Union Center on March 8, 2020. It was the last big gathering I went to before we went into lockdown. I have been encouraged by Matthew’s Quarantine Quiet Times and getting to know he and his family through them and the pop up concerts he held at his home during this pandemic. They gave me something to look forward to and a connection spiritually with people I’d only seen in a concert. Both he and Mark Hall are real people with real stories that they can share with others to inspire and encourage them. I was also blown away when Mark Hall drew the picture of Jesus while standing behind the easel and drawing upside down. Thank you for launching a podcast that will feed me spiritually!”
