Funny, and a sonic challenge
Sean Casey was one of Jim Rome’s most consistently entertaining guests. He does not disappoint in storytelling. He sounds like he is recording in a bathroom, or using a tin can and string. Johnny Bench was a great guest, and the sound began badly and got much better as time moved on, thankfully. We also learned during the trivia game why Sean’s sound is so bad. He’s at the pool or the beach!!! C’mon, Man! I was going to blame your producer. There have been some recording innovations since The Jack Benny Radio Show, Sean! Let your producer sit you down and teach you where the microphone is, and how to use it! I AM a little hearing impaired, but I hear Conan O’Brien, Danny Bonaduce, and Rob Lowe just fine on their podcasts. This is the Major Leagues! Actually, Bob Uecher would be a GREAT guest!

Love hearing stories and life lessons from the Mayor. Sean is clearly one of the best people and personalities from the game of baseball in the last few decades. However, I’ve got a fever, and the only prescription is….MORE LAMBOOSKI! The Mayor and Lambooski talking story together….FUHGEDDABOUDIT!!
