Good story, told terribly
Two stars because the story itself is fascinating. I was really excited for the HBO series; however, like this podcast the director and executive producer lacked in grabbing my attention. I had to watch the first episode three times and to this day I couldn’t finish. I began the second episode in hopes the first episode just had a bad start but I found the lack luster narrative continues. The reality of it is, this story is not new. People can Google it and find the information they’re wanting to know about it. To make this a documentary, it needs to be told in a compelling way by someone who generally tells good stories. I do feel like this story would have been better told in a documentary and podcast with the likes of the ABC team. Probably someone like Rebecca Jarvis. I just can’t get into this or the HBO series. Boring is an understatement.
