“I usually prefer a more chronological approach to my history but Ive really enjoyed hearing about topics I might not have encountered (my favourite episode was the one on béguines I think). I especially like the interviews, medieval stories, and deep dives into particular topics. the list style episodes aren’t for me personally. Some topics I’d love to see would be the Iceland sagas, the Mabinogion, and maybe a few deep dives into early medieval pagan religions and how Christianity spread across Europe. Daniele if you read this don’t listen to that other review, please continue to laugh at your own jokes! Your pure joy in the content is part of what makes the podcast so enjoyable, I feel like I can always hear you talking through a smile or on the verge of a laugh and I personally think it’s great. Your cheer is a pure delight, keep doing you!”
