“I’m in the middle of episode 680 and wanted to drop a review commending Andy for how many useful, practical, life changing pieces of advice he actually gives. I think many people miss it. Back in early 2019 I actually followed the advice to get a retail job. I really truthfully didn’t want to. I had been working at a restaurant for years and got paid like 70% more than that job at Marshall’s. I didn’t really want to take a pay cut. But for three months that winter, I worked as a cashier. This simple advice literally super charged my ability to quickly make connections with people. I was already solid, but it multiplied it by 10x in that short time. The job STUNK. Saturdays on the first register for 2 hours was more tiring than 10 hour doubles as a server. Swear to god the Karen’s are relentless. Anyway, the advice to go work in the retail environment is A1, just like lots of Andy’s practical advice and I wanted to say thank you.”
