I live off this audiobook
I honestly love this audiobook so much. Howie, our protagonist and unreliable narrator. Sometimes you hate him, sometimes you can’t help but laugh at his stupidity and complete lack of empathy. He justifies everything he does and makes us actually believe he’s right, but once you see the damage he’s caused, you start to realise that maybe he isn’t as stupid as we think. And the worst/best part is, everything works out his way in the end. He’s not only manipulating everyone around him, but the listener too! I love this audiobook so much.

This podcast is what would happen if Andy Griffith met the Twilight Zone. It’s a Kafkaesque Candide. A Lovecraftian Moral Orel. If any of that sounds like your kind of thing, I cannot recommend this highly enough.
