“Let me start by saying I do enjoy Elena and think she’s really funny so I’m not trying to bash her, however lately the podcasts have been pretty lackluster. I don’t know if she’s in a funk or something but for the last several months they have just seemed to be rushed out with low effort and minimal planning involved. The guests are very repetitive; she has her one friend on with her almost every episode and then they just spend most of the time getting sidetracked and laughing/talking about their inside jokes which aren’t as funny to an audience who didn’t experience it. It just seems like she throws something together last minute because she “has” to put a podcast out, and not because she actually wants to. I find myself not listening much anymore or if I do skipping through most of it, which is a shame because I know the podcast has the potential to be a lot better. :(”
