Challenging and Doctrinally Sound
I have finally completed a year and a half long journey of listening to every single missions podcast! Overall I cannot say enough good things about how the Lord has used these talks and challenges in my life to convict me to “think and do” more to glorify Him and spread His good news to world. I have surely forgotten some episodes and many others have stuck with me and I’m sure will continue to do so for years to come! I can’t tell you how many times I have been talking to someone at church and I will stop and say “hey they just takes about that topic on the missions podcast!” And the I proceed to appear to speak intelligently about that topic, hopefully spreading some passion to that person to share the good news! If you have the time (which we all do at some point) I HIGHLY recommend listening to some, if not all, of these episodes. My wife (who got me hooked on these) and I have had a deep desire for long term medical missions since before we were married 7yrs ago, and pray we can be faithfully sent in the next 5-8yrs after my anesthesia schooling finishes. The Lord has used this podcast to strengthen and enlighten this desire to reach the lost, and has also given us more tools and info to think through of how to be even more faithful to our Lord. I don’t know why I waited so long to “rate, subscribe, and comment to help the algorithms,” but here it is! Thank you Scott and Alex for your ministry!

If the first episode is any indication, this podcast will provide needed, biblical, church-centric perspectives on missions. The Great Commission must be at the forefront of every church’s purpose, and this podcast will help Christians understand how they should accomplish the mission.

I’ve just started listening to this podcast and one of the things I do appreciate is the practicality. As a current staff member of a church and Lord willing one day a missionary, I find it’s not only helpful for my future ministry but also my current one.
