“The podcast first aired in February 2015, originally born from Jamon and Q’s hard work and based on a very effective formula with 3 types of episodes:
- the “regular” episodes: with or without guests, they review and discuss the latest news, maybe a couple of questions from listeners, and anything they have recently come across that caught their eyes
- the specials, where they interview a guest who is often someone who has met or even worked directly with Michael Jackson
- themed episodes where, often with guests, they focus on a particular topic
What’s it like to listen to an episode?
There are so many made up stories that are sold to the general public as “news” about Michael Jackson - most if not all of it negative, and at the top of the list, the false allegations - that as a fan, you can find it difficult to share a negative opinion with non-fans: it feels like adding salt to the injury whereas there is so much to debunk instead.
Here, there is such passion but also common sense that it feels safe to discuss ANYTHING about Michael Jackson, whether it be his extraordinary artistic legacy or humanitarian efforts, or decisions that he made that were questionable, or what we likenor don’t like, or wish to see or is disappointing us.
I highly recommend this podcast, episodes are always well prepared and edited - even those improvised! - hosts are fun and respectful, they festure extraordinary guests and as you listen, time flies by.
