Not sure
I originally stumbled on this to get a sense of small town living as I consider where do I want to retire in a few years. Originally from Denver, and now in Phx., big city living no longer appeals to me. But holy cow- neither do these rural dust up small towns in Colorado or Wyoming. The basic lack of services and just the “leave me alone” mentality is a death sentence. The story about Gabby and rural town addiction, guns, lack of mental health care is utter despair and sadness. But please know city life can be isolating as well with all of those same trappings.

Can’t express enough love for this one! An excellent podcast with a western, yet modern feel. So excited to see what stories, interviews and tales come next! Great work from the Wyoming NPR team!

I am so proud that you gave the female student who was mocked in her classroom a voice on public radio. That’s justice!
