Even Better Than I Expected
I have to admit from the beginning, Joey was always one of my favorite New Kids. (The other was Jordan.) So when I found this podcast, I was very excited to start listening to all of the episodes. I especially enjoy the premise because moves are such an archetypal experience. I enjoy hearing Joe’s stories as well as the stories his guests tell. I do have to give one “warning”: before you listen to the third episode with Nichelle, make sure you have a full stomach. The last twenty minutes is basically Joe and Nichelle talking about their favorite holiday foods and I found myself raiding the cookie jar. That’s not even a complaint though because the foods sounded so delicious. I like when Joe talks to his kids and I like when he talks about things his family says, like his father saying “knock with your elbows”. I’m all caught up now and eagerly awaiting the next episode. Joe, if you’re taking guest “requests”, I’d enjoy an episode with any of the other New Kids, but especially Jordan. ;)

Thank you so much for diving in and making this happen Joe! As someone who had that “traumatic” move as a kid (7 yrs old), I can totally relate to the feelings. Can’t wait to hear more of your stories and perspective. Break a leg, break a leg, break a leg!! 👍🏻
