A Night to Remember: A look at the Ship of Dreams on her final night.
Description
Released in 1958, A Night to Remember may not be as well known as James Cameron's 1997 "Titanic", but to Titanic historians and history buffs, it is highly regarded as one of the most historically accurate film adaptations of the night of April 14-15th, 1912. As I sit down to watch A Night to Remember, we'll talk about some of the events surrounding the night of the sinking, to a far off ship that passengers could see in the distance, to miscommunication among the crew, all the way to an overturned lifeboat that saved 30 men. Told through the eyes of Titanic's second officer Charles Hebert Lightoller (played by Kenneth Moore), A Night to Remember is a must watch for any of those interested in the Titanic story.
