Y’all really cracked us up!!! We could relate to your taste in music and ended up having our own musical debates regarding the summer song list. Beth, you should have held out for “Kokomo.” It is the PERFECT summer song! Ben, sorry. While “Summer in the City” is a great song, it had no business in the top 3. (IMO, here’s the top 3 of all time: 1. Margaritaville, 2. Kokomo, 3. Boys of Summer.) I’m surprised no one mentioned Kid Rock’s “All Summer Long.” Next time, can y’all play samples of the songs? I’m an 80’s girl but didn’t recognize “Rio” until I paused your podcast and looked it up. OK, guys, keep up the good work. Can’t wait until your next show!!!”
