“As someone who enjoys musicals but has had only passing and popular knowledge of them, this podcast has exposed me to Broadway’s history and art. Jonathan’s approach to covering every Tony nominated musical is informative and entertaining and come from a genuine love for the craft. There are moments of personal honesty he shares with listeners that blends so beautifully with the content being covered. I found myself crying publicly at work while listening to the “Passing Strange” episode, which was new and highly uncharacteristic of me. Thanks for an amazing show, Jonathan. This is one of my favorite podcast of all time.
I HATE using Apple Podcasts, but downloaded the app just to leave a review due to all of the reasons above AND because Jonathan promises to cover Disney’s “The Descendants” series if we can hit a certain number of reviews. We must make this happen!”
