“This is a really fun podcast it provides excellent summaries and reviews of different musicals and I really enjoy the suggestions for alternate stagings and interpretations that could possibly improve the production. I like when the analysis is really granular like comparing Mandy Patinkin’s vocal quality to Colm Wilkinson’s on the Evita recordings. It is hard not to prefer the more contemporary and popular musicals that I am familiar with to the older and more obscure ones that have not withstood the test of time but that does help to distinguish this podcast from others that don’t cover those musicals at all. I think he should also have a podcast covering movie musicals!”
