Politics for People Inside Baseball
Great commentary and insight from people with common values but heretofore differing views of how best to achieve them. I’ve been in politics a long time now and have always tried to impress upon people that most people hover somewhere around the middle - and choose a party based on one or two key policy approaches - but we mostly value the same things. That’s just statistics. I think what Rick and Molly are bringing to the masses is invaluable in that it is illustrating this point with wit, humor, and a nod to the background level of agony the “average American” appreciates. It’s allowing people on both sides of the aisle to witness the humanity and commonality of the “other team” that they are often [self-selectively] sheltered from. It’s what we need right now (and always) if this country is going to right the ship.

More reviews of The New Abnormal
@TheRickWilson and @MollyJongFast serve up a piping hot helping of clarity, insight and hope. I know they’re only one episode in at the time of this review but, given their bodies of work, I expect this to get real good real fast.

This is the discussion we need right now: informed, stark, entertaining.

Love the podcast, love Rick Wilson! Molly, please do let Rick use his curse words! His exasperation, which mirrors so well the collective frustration and exasperation, is not as delicious without them 🙂.
