Listen now
Description
On this week’s episode, Hope sits down with Marc Brackett, Ph.D., the Founder and Director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and author of Permission to Feel. He is the lead developer of RULER, an evidence-based approach to social and emotional learning that has been adopted by nearly 2,000 pre-K through high schools across the United States and in other countries.  This episode was recorded on Wednesday, May 25th, just one day after the terrible tragedy at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX. We had this recording session scheduled for several weeks, and felt it was important to continue. The result is a very timely and relevant episode that can hopefully help all of us as we navigate this difficult time.  For more information on Marc and Permission to Feel, visit https://www.marcbrackett.com/. Please consider making a donation to the Robb School Memorial Fund to assist the victims and families of Robb Elementary School, or contact your government representative and senator.
