“Held back on the review until until a true Prem Cru episode landed, as it did on todays Q&A.
K (rent-me? never!) and D’A (Jam-Side-Up,don’t y’know) knocked it out the park without trying, despite D’A’s hand wringing early doors in the episode.
The subject matter has often rankled, even for a Cen-Lefter like me, as there’s been no choice for the lads but to focus on racket.gov’s endless low-jinks when we’re all sick of the sick, sick feeling, but today was different.
Around the mid 2000s, long before I wrote dadless and the spy novels, I worked as a shop fitter in Liverpool and stayed at the prestigious Regent Maritime doss house in Bootle, so I guess K tickled me bias a bit re- local history, re-development (as foretold by the great outside artist Arthur Dooley).
D’A’s cultural insight is in the Doggus Bolloxicus category but I find the NE too heavy I wish K’d consider an ‘i’ style condensed version, just saying.”
