The mind is a wonderful vehicle of expression, a tool of communication, allowing you to be in the world to communicate to others who are here. The power of the mind is only known to a few, for most people have not really discovered its importance and its greater facilities, its greater faculties. People begin their study of the New Message Teaching very much oppressed by their own minds, very much in the position of being a victim of what they think and feel, with very little control over what they think and feel. It is as if the mind has ruled them, like a harsh master, for all their years.
