Wonderful, but...
A wonderful project, generally well accomplished. But what is the purpose behind having people who are not native speakers of English as readers? They may be wonderful writers, but all those I have tried listening to are not very good readers. Some have been very poor readers. This is no criticism of them as writers or as people; it is a criticism of the editorial decision to use them in a role to which they are poorly suited.

The premise of these podcasts, that of authors choosing, discussing and reading works they admire, works brilliantly. It never seems to fail in revealing a great deal both of reader and tale.
