arresting + compelling
thoughtful, interesting and surprising. even when the topic would not ordinarily interest me, i find the treatment worth listening to plus i get exposed to information and things i might not otherwise know about. if you hate a segment, it doesn’t matter much because the next topic is sure to please. i also think that one can not judge on just one or two episodes, time must be invested. and, TNYRH gets better as they continually improve. the production levels are first rate and the theme music is singularly sublime.
