Loving the interviews and insights into the books!
This is my new favorite podcast (right up there with ‘How I Built This’ and ‘Song Exploder’). I enjoy reading the books in Next Big Idea Club but the podcast adds another element and brings out aspects of the book I may have missed. I’ve shared the ‘Coders’ podcast with my brother because we’ve spoken about the YouTube algorithm in the past, but the discussion with Clive Thompson gave me a more succinct way to explain the inherent, even if sometimes unintentional, biases of the algorithm to my family. In addition, I enjoyed the discussion with David Epstein about ‘Range’ because it’s great to hear you don’t need to put in your 10,000 in just one subject to succeed. Most recently, I was happy to hear the episode about ‘How to Have More Productive Disagreements’ as we head into the Holiday season and think about how to talk to family members with different viewpoints.

More reviews of The Next Big Idea
Starting with episode 3 the podcast went from big ideas to political... I learned nothing and just listened to ideas I had already heard...many times Too bad because I liked the podcast.

Could you imagine if any other group was substituted for “white” ? No...Read full review »
