“Hi from Australia! Love the new podcast, when ever a new episode drops my run home from work that day is made so much more easier and interesting. My favourite part is hearing the insights into the operational aspects of running an airline. One topic I have always found curious was how airlines manage scheduling flights and allocating a specific aircraft e.g. registration number to a flight. Does one specific aircraft fly a single route or is it a constant juggling act between aircrafts coming in from different flights? What happens when there are forced equipment changes or major delays on an in bound flight? Do they just have spare aircraft lying around or slack in the system to cover? Thanks! Alex”
