“Edit: PLEASE STOP VIBES VS STATS WE ARE NOT HERE FOR FOOTBALL WHO TOLD YOU THAT WE WERE?
I have loved this podcast for awhile but it’s getting really hard to listen to. Nick, you have to wrap your head around the idea that you DONT have experience in everything and your take/opinion/whatever happened or tangentially happened to you…might not be what other people have experienced! How many more times will you talk over a caller or go on a monologue about how you “started in sales and did jobs you didn’t like” or “moved ALL THE WAY from milwaukee to Chicago….wow!….and it changed your life…” to try to force your own experiences upon what someone else is trying to explain to you? Some of your advice is good, even great, but it’s stated in such a holier-than-thou way, who wants to take it?
He talks over his co-hosts, callers, and guests so often, and usually only to force his viewpoint down their throats. Sure, he lets them say their piece but no one but Nick gets a final word.
Perfect example from a seemingly minor topic, but he STILL had to have the ultimate say: when the girl wrote in about not wanting to take her fiancées last name, and Nick was ADAMANT that “TRUST ME YOULL WANT THE SAME LAST NAME ONCE YOURE MARRIED.” Ok. Maybe you do. That doesn’t mean everyone does?!?! But everything he says is spoken with such finality, not to mention rudeness to his cohosts who try to offer alternative views…. Man. I need a break from this dude.
Also, who is the girl who keeps using baby talk? Pleaseeee stop. To my knowledge everyone is over twenty. Please.”
