These people get it!
About 5 years ago I "discovered" immersive theatre for the first time, going in blindly to an amazing show in NYC called SLEEP NO MORE. In my first moments in the space, I knew my relationship to theatre was forever changed, and I have eagerly sought out other immersive and site specific performances. Unfortunately, there is still a lot of mislabeling and many things that are promoted as "immersive" are anything but. HOWEVER, along scomes the No Proscenium Podcast (and their incredibly helpful newsletter and Facebook pages) and I suddenly have access to a plethora of information and conversations about this new passion of mine. Their understanding of themselves as observers of this art form and how the very act of discussing it can have an impact on the experience is vital to the success of this podcast, because they can discuss productions without giving it away. They can build excitement without taking away from the blind-first-timers experience. More of this type of commentary, please, Universe!

My favorite podcasts get down to the bottom of something and then start digging. Every NoPro podcast does this. If you care about immersive you'll fall in love. If you don't, you'll probably still enjoy every episode because Noah dives deep into the psyche of his creators.
