Incredibly well done
I love this podcast and look forward to its new episodes weekly. They’ve done a fantastic job with the pandemic episodes - very real and raw. And as a medical student, listening to all the other seasons/episodes has been inspiring and really given me something to look forward to as well as help me become more mentally prepared (as much as possible, anyway). It’s been comforting to hear the human side of medicine from the people we consider the heroes, and realize that they too go through their fair share of self-doubt, second guessing, and challenges. Thank you for creating this podcast, I truly can’t recommend it enough!

More reviews of The Nocturnists
Just finished listening to the episode featuring Megan O'Brien's story and discussion afterwards, and it's FANTASTIC. All medical students (and of course, MDs) should subscribe to this show. Insight and uplift will surely follow. Very well done.Read full review »

This podcast is consistently great. As someone who worked in an allied health profession for over 30 years, it is heartening to hear the stories of people in the trenches. People forget that health care professionals are people who struggle with the emotional toll of caring for others.

Latha Panchap’s experience is very relatable from other fields of study as well. Been there too.
