“I was able to get halfway through before turning this off.. House of the Dragon premiere review… lots of complaints about how the premiere didn’t grab them or impress them and the subtext is they liked GoT better. And that’s fine but at least have some analysis to illustrate your rationale. Case in point- Mary complains there is gratuitous sex and cited the brothel scene. but why not explain what the sex took away or failed to add to the scene, or how it was a distraction? And why does Blake continue to re-interpret what Mary says? Lastly when he started to downplay Rhaenyra’s selection as crown princess I gave up.”
