“Intelligent interviews with people have taken that famous Oath to defend the US Constitution and its ideals—-and then been challenged, and had to make significant sacrifices in order to keep that oath.
I took that oath in the military, almost 50 years ago. I was only in the service a few years, but that oath is still very significant to me. It has informed several choices in my younger years, and is on my mind often now. In fact, when I hear it, my impulse is always to stand. I don’t, lol, but I want to.
I find this podcast uplifting because it leads us through the careers and lives of honorable folks who have faced much harder choices than I have, and who stood with what is right.
Thank you very much for this podcast. I started because I wanted to hear that first episode, with Jim Comey, and now I’m hooked!”
