Great show but …
I generally really enjoy the show but it is at its very best when it keeps to its original idea of focusing on actors or comedians and going deep on their background and evolution as artists. For me, the show becomes very different when it strays from this core idea. When the show features sports stars it has a very different feel and I find myself losing interest. A recent episode with a sports figure began with a 15 minute golf discussion that was just a waste and should have been cut. The host shifts from being a peer to a sports fan in those episodes and it becomes a very different experience for the listener. So some episodes are wonderful and the podcast can be fabulous when he is interviewing an actor and you get to learn about the art.

More reviews of Off The Beat with Brian Baumgartner
Love listening to behind the scene stories from a great tv show- but splitting up interviews into separate episodes is super annoying- even more so that they’re not consecutive. Very lame tactic to get people to stick around. Not this guy- I was done after I figured it out. Too bad

Great start. The clown who wrote the review bashing The Office Ladies and wearing dresses imagine how pathetic and miserable his life is ? Typical mother’s cellar comment. Lonely and sad is no way to go through life
