Has promise but needs work
Disclaimer: I’ve only listened to the first 3 episodes and the Xmas special of this show, based on a friend’s recommendation, so this may not apply to the entire show, but I feel like I’ve given it enough of a chance to be fair here. This show has good production value and voice acting but the humor needs some more tinkering. A lot of the jokes feel like the characters are just being mean without an emotional core behind why they act this way. There’s also a lot of things that happen in the frame story and reviews that are funny ideas, but that are kind of just presenting a funny idea or the logistics thereof. I’d like to see more heightening, and exploring the implications of the things that happen in this show and it’s reviews. I also think that it could use a few editing passes, many of the scenes and reviews drag a bit. Overall, the show has promise, but it has a long way to go. You won’t have a bad time listening but I don’t think it lives up to its potential.

This has a great premise and I think it's still holds promise, but it slowly went off the rails this season, culminating in the truly terrible episodes involving Santa. Good luck with the next season!Read full review »
