A worthy effort but...
I started listening to this book and within the first minute, I knew I was not going to make it through. The author couldn't even pronounce 'Jihad' correctly! Secondly, I could not understand for the life of me why this guy decided to read the book himself. He clearly does not have a reader's voice and to top it off, there are all these tense/awkard pauses which make listening to this book a very labored affair. I think it is a good book had I been able to get through it but I honestly think he should have hired someone with a better voice to narrate the story. This is a problem with most podio book authors, I guess they don't seem to understand that by putting their works on the internet they are basically inviting the whole planet to listen. A little more professionalism would go a long way in helping promote future works.
