Description
Over the last year or so, Karisse has noticed a large divide between two groups that *should* be unified in their fight against online fraud and abuse: merchants and solution providers. This divide has led to frustrations, assumptions and burned bridges. Because Karisse has a 10,000 foot view of the industry and works with both merchants and solution providers in her consultancy, she's in a unique position to share the perspective of each side to one another. She also posted a survey on LinkedIn asking merchants & vendors to share their perspectives, stories, and advice to the other side, and received way more responses than she was expecting! She'll share some of the best responses to those questions, in addition to her own observations and insights. Solution providers will learn more about merchants: how they think, what they care about and how they want to be sold to. And Merchants will learn how to better communicate with vendors and to get the most out of vendor interactions, and learning more about the various solutions in the space. -And both will learn more from each side's perspectives. This episode is being released prior to one of the main industry events in online fraud and payments: CNP Expo, but the advice and insight that is packed into this hour will help year round.
