Exactly!
As an OP myself, there are many times, while listening, where I exclaim, “spot on!”; sometimes out loud. And I am often reacting to the politics of a set, the psychological aspects of our job, or the relationships Dave and the other Ops talk about. Of course I love the technical talk, and the deep diving conversations about the art of it all, but it’s refreshing to hear about the stuff going on behind, behind the scenes. For every moment I find myself relating to a topic, I also hear something that I’ve never heard or even thought of. Don’t stop The Op. it’s a great source of entertainment and knowledge for the people in our Biz, the people who want to be in our Biz, and every fan of the moving image.
