Knowledge & Experience To Inspire Forward Movement
As a long-time Lighting Camera Operator (documentary, branded etc) who’s trying to forge a path in the narrative world, I have found Dave’s podcast such an important and inspiring resource. Being able to listen to the various journeys other Operators have gone through is so valuable to keeping on track. Also having the expertly-curated content libraries and being able to study shot breakdowns, masterclasses and other useful materials gives me to ability go get ahead of some challenges that one will inevitably face on a busy set. Anything from soft-skills, politics, to hard skills and knowing your equipment; it’s all there and delivered with an often amusing sense of humility. Very grateful.
