I randomly walked by the TV when the Emssary premiered here in Iceland as a teenager and it sucked me into the entire world of Star Trek, for which I am eternally grateful. I love listening to both of your views, being a Buddhist myself for the past 20 years, I really love hearing how others see DS9 with different perspectives. DS9 expresses the human experience genuinely and asks tough questions without always saying what is right or wrong. When I rewatch DS9 I feel like that was what tought me to think critically and see things from many perspectives as a teenager.”
