“I really loved Season 1, but eventually I had no tolerance for the ads. The same 3.5 minute cutesy ad wasn’t so cutesy when it was every week, then there were ads for other podcasts, promotion of their patreon account, and call-outs to individual donors. In a 10-15 (occasionally 20) minute episode, I don’t want 5 mins of advertising, especially when combined with the obligatory cast credits. When this most recent season became disconnected short stories written by fans instead of a cohesive series in three same “voice,” it pushed me into unsubscribing.”
