Great podcast, horrible audio
I absolutely love the content of this podcast, but Orvis really needs to spend more time on their audio production. Both the quality is poor and the volume is really inconsistent. Most of the time it sounds Reid is talking from an underwater phone booth which is confusing since he records these in the office. When listening to this podcast, I have to constantly adjust the volume between the guest and Reid in order to comfortably listen while also understanding what everyone is saying. People also occasionally cough during the recording which could easily be edited out during post production - the abrupt change in volume makes me jump out of my seat every time. Reid and his guests are excellent, I just wish Orvis put in a little more effort to make a professional quality final product (see Tom Rosenbauer’s Orvis podcast).

More reviews of The Orvis Hunting and Shooting Podcast
Why is it when I see durrel come up as guest as a podcast I already know what’s going to be brought up? Durrel and Orvis, you are both better than this and would to hear you talking about dogs and hunting.

Reid does a fantastic job of navigating conversations in a professional manner. He represents the brand of Orvis...Read full review »
