Good people with amazing stories
Warning long but positive review Osher this is great!, forgive me if the following sounds lame and corney, but it really is so remarkable to see someone who has taken all his experience in broadcasting and doing live interviews to use it in creating and producing something as worthwhile as this. Your right, each one of these individuals have such great inspiring and emotionally moving stories and I’m glad to have now been able to listen to them. I enjoying hearing the ups and downs, hardships and adventures of these true everyday people. The highlights – Natarsha Beling who to me before was just another professional woman face on television with heavy makeup (as she agreed on). To now know of her experiences as a girl in the outback, her anxieties and the challenges she faced trying to get a place in the industry, how hard she worked and her love of the rural landscape and lifestyle – amazing! Yumi’s story, whereby it was so brave of her to have shared such deep and personal on this podcast. Then also the story of her trek up north and work as a carnie, so outrageous and brave and all because she ‘couldn’t go home, I haven’t had fun yet’ – hilarious, what a woman?. Also I agree with you on her outspokenness being such a great personality trait. I’m like that and like her I can get into trouble with it, so I felt ‘with it’ when you spoke to her about it and complimented her on it. Luke Heggie – how you and him were talking about being overseas and then coming back to Brisbane and being bored, mate friggin oath hey, I’m 22 and have been to the states four times, Europe 2 times, UK 3 times, 1 of those times I lived there for 6 months just recently actually, New Zealand 2 times and of course there are still so many places I want to see. Plus I have never been content living in Brisbane, just because sometimes it feels like the end of the universe and that everything is going on elsewhere somewhere. Also people here in Brisbane are so stuck in the rutthole of their very typical Brisbane lives they don’t know, don’t see and have no knowledge or clue about some of the amazing things there is out there to go do and see. Guys I am with you all the way. You – when you were talking at the start of one of the podcast’s not sure which one, about your problems with anxiety. This stuck me deep, as I have been battling on and off general anxiety for about 6ish or so years now. When it comes to anxiety and/or depression, people like to shun them out and pretend they don’t exist. Yourself speaking so openly about it, like it’s an everyday normal thing, which it is! and should be seen as! I thought was a great move on your behalf. The reason being you are a public figure and someone who always appears so confident and well self assured when on Television. It’s nice to be reassured that even the most seemingly confident people can occasionally have these problems. On this note I don’t drink coffee either and more than one pot of tea a day is normal for me as well so don’t worry, ha! If you are in the future needed a new person to interview, look into Shay Stafford, she lives in Sydney and is an ex Moulin Rouge and Lido dancer originally from Brisbane. Her story is amazing also. Keep em coming! Great appreciated
