“Chanman is arguably one of the best hosts in the OW scene - he is eloquent, works well with the guests, and provides good everyman content. But he also tends to bring on 'analysts' and other guests who let the show down. I wish Blizzard would hire him to do regular interviews/commentary since he has such great delivery and very rarely are there awkward silences, etc. He would be such an asset in that regard - providing an official news and tournament scene reporting straight from the source.
Why to watch it? There is some great analysis of the competitive scene. Although Chanman isn't as knowledgeable about it, he does bring in guests like ZP and Fishstix who have interesting insight into compettiive scene (especially pro). I would prefer less juvenile guests who use phrases like "I left my dick on the table" or "I jizzed my pants when I made that play". Plus, guest hosts like Flame use the word 'like' so many times in the podcast that it makes the show almost unwatchable/unlistenable.
The potential is here to be the very best in OW news and presentation. I think Chanman needs to reconsider his guests/cohosts more and set a series of standards to make this applicable for a broader audience and to make the 'clean lyrics' certification actually true.”
