Miles Parks McCollum, known professionally as Lil Yachty, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor who was born on August 23, 1997. He first gained recognition on the internet in 2015 for his singles "One Night" and "Minnesota" from his debut EP Summer Songs. Lil Yachty's style is often described as "bubblegum trap" and he has been associated with the "mumble rap" movement, bringing a distinctive feel-good positivity, druggy weirdness, and wild ATLian flair to his music.
